Erweiterter Datenschutz
Da nach der DSGVO die Erhebung und streng genommen auch die bloße Veröffentlichung von Namen (auch ohne weitere Angaben) auf Webseiten eine Abmahnung zur Folge haben kann, werden ab sofort nur noch Namen von Personen auf meiner Webseite und in der Soldin-Datenbank genannt, die folgende Kriterien erfüllen:
1. Die Person wurde vor mehr als 110 Jahren geboren oder ist vor mehr als 30 Jahren gestorben.
2. Informationen zu Eheschließungen werden nur noch genannt, wenn die Kriterien zu 1. erfüllt sind und das Aufgebot, die Eheschließung, die Scheidung vor mehr als 80 Jahren stattgefunden hat.
Die Kriterien orientieren sich damit an denen der öffentlichen Archive und werden bei jedem Update der Datenbank im Vergleich zum jeweiligen Tagesdatum der Veröffentlichung neu geprüft.
Die in meinen früheren Beitrag zum Datenschutz genannte Lösung „Ausgabe des Namens mit dem Hinweis *** Datenschutz ***“ entfällt damit ersatzlos.
Damit entfallen für die Forschung zwar wichtige Querinformationen zu z.B. Familienmitglieder und Verwandten, aber Gesetz ist nun mal Gesetz.
Das Problem ist nur bei Personen im 20. Jahrhundert relevant, aktuell bei nach 1909 geborenen Personen. Der Informationsverlust in der Soldin-Datenbank ist jedoch gering, er beträgt zur Zeit lediglich 312 Einträge.
